The following information on apying for school meals is taken from the Aberdeenshire website: http://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/schools/meals/online-payment-for-school-meals-and-other-school-payments/
Aberdeenshire Council has introduced on-line payments to primary and secondary schools to provide parents and carers with the convenience of making on-line payment with debit or credit cards, for a range of school services.
This is now the way to pay for primary and secondary school meals. In addition, you may also make payment for a range of school services and activities when this facility becomes available.
The first step in accessing the on-line payment service is to visit Pay facility located on the Aberdeenshire Council home page. Select the Pay option. Select the “School meals and other school payment” option this will reveal the MyGovScot MyAccount portal.

How to make a Payment
The system allows you the convenience to make a payment whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A straightforward one-time registration is required for you, creating your own unique user name and password. Making payment is simple and the system holds a payment history for you to view.
The preferred option is to make an on-line payment but if required cash or cheque payments will continue to be accepted.
How the system is used to obtain a Primary School Meal
Each morning in the classroom those children having a school meal will choose their main course for that day. This information will help the kitchen to ensure pupils receive their selected option.
Parents/carers can view their children’s choices in their on-line account history.
Payment for drinks cannot be made on-line and will remain available for cash purchase at lunchtime.
Information for pupils entitled to Free School Meals – including Primary 1 to 3 Free School Meals
The systems works the same for all pupils whether they pay or qualify for Free School Meal entitlement. If your child is eligible for free school meals, the system will recognise this and automatically allow meal selections.
Application forms for Free School Meals are available from the School Office to families in receipt of Income Support.
Juice and tuck shop items are available at 20p and 25p respectively.
For parents or guardians of pupils that have not previously taken lunch in school the current primary school menu cycle and information on primary school meals can be viewed on the school catering web pages at:
